Meet the Leadership Team

My name is Nella Valencia-Ngo. I have a master’s degree in psychology, and I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapy. I also have a teaching credential and a school counseling credential. Currently I run my own private practice. 

In my church community I participate in several ministries such as hospitality, life group leader, and I am part of the mental health ministry.

I am married to Vince, the most supportive husband I could have ever asked for. Together we have three children, Danyelle, Matthew, and Noah. Our son Matthew was born with cerebral palsy. Through our journey with Matthew, we have learned to truly surrender and lean fully on God.

In my free time I love attending to my vegetable garden, and chicken flock.

 Being able to  serve in the development of a Christ centered homeschooling co-op was placed in my heart since the day I began homeschooling. I am humbled by the opportunity to collaborate with parents in equipping leaders that will shine the Light of Jesus everywhere they go. 

Welcome! My name is Alyssa Harris. I graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, taught Tinkergarten for six years, led in numerous roles in co-ops/church groups and am a certified wedding/event coordinator. 

I am married to my husband Greedley, and we homeschool our two children and take joy in bringing learning “out of the box.” Whether it's through a science experiment, field trip or craft project - I love instilling the joy of learning into each topic we cover. I enjoy all things DIY, baking, beach days, hosting events and checking out the local thrift stores in my free time. 

I have always had a heart for children and showing them God’s love through all of the beauty that surrounds us. I am so excited to be a part of Lighthouse and joining with your families as we shine God’s light everywhere we go! 

Hi, my name is Kaitlin Kiemeney. I received a Bachelors degree in nursing in 2012 and since, have specialized in pediatric oncology. I am currently working as a part-time RN while I homeschool and raise our three young children together with my husband Jared. I have always loved children and becoming a mother was one of my dreams come true. 

I have a passion for missions serving in Mississippi after hurricane Katrina, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Peru. I enjoy sharing my love for bread making and baking, rock climbing, hiking, traveling, the beach, snowboarding and ceramics with my family or anyone who likes to join. 

I am currently volunteering in our church through children's ministry and love finding ways I can help out and be a part of an incredible community. I am looking forward to serving in the Lighthouse co-op. When you put God fearing women together, anything can happen and I am excited to see where He leads us and grows this community into a strong and beautiful community that shines God’s light to others.
